The Voigtländer Prominent (1958) is a precision-built 35mm rangefinder camera from West Germany, part of Voigtländer’s flagship Prominent line. By 1958, the Prominent had evolved into one of the most refined alternatives to Leica and Contax.
At its core is a Synchro-Compur leaf shutter offering speeds from 1 second to 1/500s plus Bulb, ensuring reliable exposures and quiet operation.
Our version comes with everything (apart from the kitchen sink). Interchangeable 35mm F3.5 lens and additional viewfinder for the 35mm frame. Each colour push fit filter as well as the push fit lens hood. This kit also comes with an enlarger view finder for focus alignment. All accessories also have the original leather cases.
